Tanker 324 is a 2003 Red Diamond custom tanker mounted on a Volvo chassis. It has a 500 gpm pump and carries 3000 gallons of water. Toward the rear of each side and on the rear of the truck we have 12 inch discharges. We can pull along side or back up to any drop tank and dump the entire tank in 60-75 seconds. This serves us especially well in areas of our district and neighboring districts that lack fire hydrants. The cab carries two persons and we carry two SCBA for the event that those firefighters must engage in firefighting.
