Providence Volunteer Fire Department is located in Weddington, NC. We serve part of the Town of Weddington in Union County as well as unincorporated areas of Mecklenburg County not yet annexed by the City of Charlotte. We are a combination Paid/Volunteer Department with paid staff providing coverage every day of the week from 6:00 AM until 6:00 PM and they are supplemented with available volunteers. The volunteer staff provides full coverage at night and on holidays. We hope you enjoy our site and please feel free to contact us with any questions.
